Privacy policy

Your account: your nickname and email. Your password is never stored in plaintext — only a cryptographic hash is.

Your game: the rooms you join, your preference lists, the players assigned to you and your standings.

Technical: your login sessions and an operations log, to run and secure the service.

Notifications: if you turn them on, the technical identifier your browser or device gives us to deliver them. It is only used to send your room alerts, and it is deleted as soon as you turn them off.

Only to let you play: create your account, sign you in, run the games and send you notifications tied to your rooms (lineup dropped, result).

No advertising, no data resale, no marketing tracking.

No one but you and the service. Your personal data is shared with no third party.

Match data (player ratings, stats) comes from a sports provider; that's public data about professional players, not your data.

A game's detail (play-by-play, choices) is erased 90 days after the match; only a summary remains (the match, your player, your standing).

Sessions and tokens expire on their own; security logs are kept for a few months at most.

The notification identifier lives as long as you keep notifications on: turning them off deletes it, and a device that becomes unreachable is dropped on its own.

You can view and change your nickname from your profile.

You can delete your account at any time from your profile: your personal data is erased and, in past games, your nickname becomes “Player left”.

For any question about your data, or to exercise your rights (access, rectification, erasure, objection): contact@goatpick.app.

Functional cookies: your login session, your language preference, your time zone and your consent choice. Audience measurement (Google Analytics, anonymised IP) ONLY if you accept it in the banner — declining is as easy as accepting, your choice is kept for 6 months and can be changed anytime in your profile (Settings). No advertising cookies.
